Hodgdon CFE 223 Smokeless Gun Powder , This spherical propellant yields top velocities in many cartridges such as the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 22-250 Remington and the 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, plus many, many more.

This extremely versatile rifle propellant was developed as a copper fouling deterrent as it incorporates in its formula CFE or Copper Fouling Eraser, an ingredient initially used by the military.  The resulting powder produces longer periods of consistent accuracy with less barrel cleaning required for many popular cartridges such as the 223 Remington, 22-250 Remington, and 308 Winchester. This powder is ideal for the Match, Varmint, and AR shooters.

CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time.
